CCYS Registration Credit and Refund Policy
CCYS offers at its discretion credits of certain fees on a case-by-case basis for official withdrawal from the program prior to the midway game of the season. Requests for refunds must be made by e-mail to the CCYS Administrator, not your child's coach. All credits will be reviewed by our club treasurer and if granted applied as a credit to your account toward future registrations. A refund may be requested instead of a credit and will be issued by check once the season has begun. A program-specific, non-refundable administrative fee will be deducted from any refund granted.
In cases where the withdrawal is for documented medical reasons
a) A credit of the registration fee paid minus the administrative fee will be issued before the season start date*. The in-town soccer administrative fee is $25; the travel soccer administrative fee is $50.
b) After the season start date*, the credit in a) above will be prorated by the number of weeks remaining in the season at the time of the injury up to the midway game of the season.
c) No credits after the midway game of the season.
d) The injury must be reported to CCYS within two weeks of occurrence.
In cases where the withdrawal is for non-medical reasons
a) A credit of the registration fee paid minus the administrative fee will be issued if CCYS is informed of the withdrawal before team release occurs. Roster release for the Spring 2024 season is March 15th for travel and April 5th for InTown. The intown soccer administrative fee is $25; for travel soccer the administrative fee is $50.
b) If CCYS is informed of the withdrawal after teams have been released, no refund will be issued.
CCYS Fee Waivers
CCYS offers fee waivers to families that find themselves in financial hardship. If interested, please fill out a fee waiver request form. Applicants will be contacted by CCYS to understand their situation for determination. Families receiving a waiver for the travel program are asked to pay a nominal fee of $25 per child, with a maximum fee of $50 per family. In other words, families with three or more children playing in CCYS only need to pay this fee for two children. We are asking families receiving a waiver for the Liverpool program to pay a fee of $50 per child, with a maximum fee of $100 per family. If these fees represent a significant financial burden, please let us know and we can make adjustments as needed.
Coach Licensing Course Reimbursement
CCYS will glady refund the course cost of US Youth Soccer sponsored coach licensing courses. This also includes Mass Youth Soccer sponsored courses. Submit the Certificate of Course Completion to our Administrator and include the date and place where the course was completed and your address. A reimbursement check will be issued.
