Our program - To support our coaches, CCYS offers coach training through licensing which is administered through our parent organization, Mass Youth Soccer.   Feedback from coaches after completing courses say it helps them to better understand the mind-set of their players and gives them the tools needed to coach. CCYS now requires all coaches and assistant coaches to obtain regular on-going coach licensing.

How it works - The NSCAA licensing starts with the level 4-hour course and continues with Level 2, 3, etc.  Each course increases in time to complete the course but builds on the coach's sophistication of the coaching experience.  Mass Youth Soccer website offers more detail on each course and a full calendar of courses for the season.

How you can sign up - There are many courses in the Mass Youth Soccer line-up and usually include at least two Concord-hosted courses each season. See the current season schedule under Coach News or refer to the Coaching Section of the Mass Youth Soccer website for the full listing and links to registration.

Other information - Pre-registration is necessary at least 48-hours prior to course date.  Additionally, pre-course work may be required for some courses. Register early to allow time for completion of registration and any pre-course work necessary.

CCYS is happy to reimburse coaches for completed courses, click here for more information.
