Kicks for Cancer 2021

Please save the date for this year’s Lois Wells Memorial Kicks for Cancer event at Concord-Carlisle High School (CCHS) on September 25, 2021!  Year after year, KICKS brings the community together to support local high school soccer teams and raise funds to advance ovarian cancer research. Since 2007, Kicks for Cancer has raised nearly $550,000 for the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in memory of CCHS Coach Steve Wells’ mother Lois.

The soccer games start early in the day and stretch into the evening—with players taking to the fields wearing jerseys with the name of a loved one who has battled cancer displayed on their backs. Tickets will be available at the gate on the day of the event. The game schedule will be released before the event and will be available at here.

Pop up event.  On September 18, 2021, KICKS and Mighty Moose will have a pop-up tent during CCYS games at the CCHS upper turf fields from 10-2.  Stop by to learn more about the history and mission of KICKS, register for the Mighty Moose 5K, or pick up some merchandise to show your support!

Lawn signs. In keeping with the community spirit of the event, we also encourage you to show your support with a KICKS lawn sign in the shape of the traditional KICKS jersey! You can help us paint our towns Pink + Teal with your lawn sign by ordering one from KICKS here.

Ball girls/boys on the day of KICKS.  CCYS players are encouraged to sign up to be ball boys and girls at each of the soccer games. Please be on the lookout for an email as the event gets closer!
